Bedworth Brass

The town of Bedworth, in Warwickshire, can trace its brass band roots back to well over 150 years. Despite the rich mining heritage of the area however, Bedworth bands had their origins in the local churches and it was the merger of the former town and church bands that created the current Bedworth Brass.

Like many bands, Bedworth Brass regularly enters contests and has qualified for the National Finals on six occasions, including competing at the Royal Albert Hall in 2000. In 2001 the band was promoted to the first section where it remains today. The band enjoys performing concerts and is delighted to be here at Pershore again this year with its MD Jonathan Mott.
