Avonbank (Evesham) Brass Band
Avonbank (Evesham) Brass Band is currently ranked as a Second Section band in the Midland Brass Band Area.
The band was formed in 1948 as part of the Avonbank Youth Club in Evesham. Ties with the club were eventually severed and the band progressed into a successful independent band residing in their own band-room in the Bengeworth area of Evesham. 2023 saw the band celebrate its 75th anniversary.
Avonbank also runs a Community band that has players of all ages and abilities. The Community Band meets at the Avonbank Band-room on a Tuesday at 7pm.
Avonbank always welcomes players as visitors or indeed prospective members, if you would like to come along either on a Tuesday or Wednesday or night to play or perhaps just come along to listen or indeed hire the band for a function, please contact the band through our website.
