Cheltenham Silver Academy Band
Cheltenham Silver Academy Band was formed as a temporary band in 2020 to play in the 4th section of the Regional Championships in Torquay. They enjoyed the experience so much they have played in the championships almost every year since. In 2025, the Academy Band continued after the contest, playing at several summer events, including Pershore Midsummer Brass. This year, they continue to do the same under their original musical director, Colin Forster.
The band aims to develop the players’ experience and skill while keeping a strong focus on enjoying learning and performing brass music.
