Worcester Concert Brass
Worcester Concert Brass is a traditional non-contesting brass band, based in Worcester, and performs regularly in and around the county. Our players are of diverse age, background and experience who share a love of music. We play a wide repertoire of music from films and musicals, big band numbers, classic rock and pop, and even, some light classics in addition to more traditional brass band pieces. We believe we have something for everyone to enjoy
whatever the occasion.
We are a busy band with performances ranging from formal concerts through to playing carols outside, each of which raise much-needed funds for local charities. In May this year, we were delighted to be invited again to play at the Elgar Festival. Summer sees us playing in Worcestershire’s beautiful bandstands as part of the popular ‘Bands in the Park’ series and at local shows.
Pershore Midsummer Brass is a favourite and we have performed at this long-standing event every year since it started, barring just one – quite an achievement!
