Bretforton Silver Band
Bretforton Silver Band is delighted to support Pershore Midsummer Brass!
Now in our 131st year, we are a friendly village brass band from the Vale of Evesham in Worcestershire, with over 30 musicians, under the direction of our Musical Director, Paul Wood. Last year marked a special milestone as we celebrated our 130th anniversary with a day of events, including a memorable evening of music shared with fellow local bands.
Throughout the year, we take part in a wide range of concerts and public performances, including our unique and much-loved annual asparagus auction.
We deeply value the support we receive from our local community and maintain strong connections with local businesses, the village church, and Bretforton First School, where we are proud to support and encourage brass music education.
Looking to the future is at the heart of what we do. We are proud to run two development groups: our beginners’ band, Bret Set Go, and our training band, Bret Prep. Together, they provide opportunities for learners of all ages to begin and continue their musical journey, nurturing the next generation of players.
Proud of where we’ve come from, we enjoy blending traditional brass band favourites with more modern pieces.
