Cleobury Mortimer Concert Brass
Cleobury Mortimer Concert Brass is based in Shropshire, practising every week in their local parish hall on Tuesdays from 19:30-21:30.
In 2023, they welcomed David Nicholson as their new MD. The band was pleased to be placed 3rd in the 3rd section of the Midlands Area Contest 2023, with an invitation to appear at the National Finals in Cheltenham in September 2023. Following on from their success at the Area Contest, the band also earned 1st place in the 3rd section at ConsTest 2023 at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in April, and finished 7th overall.
Their repertoire includes a variety of popular modern music, as well as classic concert pieces.
