Langley Band
Langley Band is one of the oldest brass bands in the Midlands and were founded in 1878. The band has around 30 musicians, mainly from the Midlands region.
We have built up an enviable reputation for providing quality musical entertainment and are kept busy entertaining audiences throughout the year regularly giving concerts in our local Barlow Theatre and at Black Country Living Museum.
Following winning the First Section in 2024, we have been in the Championship Section since 2025. Langley Band also runs a community band since 2016, Langley Community Brass, which invites players of all standards and ages to enjoy music making. Langley Community Band has been going from strength to strength and has seen players progress to our main band and other top flight bands in the West Midlands.
