Bret Prep

Bret Prep is the training band of Bretforton Silver Band, providing an important step in the development of our players.

Many of its members have progressed from our beginners’ group, Bret Set Go, building their skills and confidence as they continue their musical journey. The band is supported by experienced players from Bretforton Silver Band, and also provides an opportunity for established musicians to learn and develop on instruments outside their usual banding role.

Under the direction of Shane Grove-Robson, and with the valued support of senior band members, Bret Prep continues to grow in both ability and ambition.

The band performs regularly throughout the year at a range of local engagements, including the Bretforton Village Proms and the band’s Annual Supporters’ Fete, as well as a busy programme of festive performances.

Since the new year, Bret Prep has been working hard on a challenging and entertaining programme, which they are looking forward to performing at Pershore Midsummer Brass.
