Langley Band
Langley Band is one of the oldest brass bands in the Midlands and were founded in 1878. The band has around 30 musicians and since 2002 our MD has been Cliff Parker.
We have built up an enviable reputation for providing quality musical entertainment and are kept busy entertaining audiences throughout the year regularly giving concerts in our local Barlow Theatre and at Black Country Living Museum.
We have been successful on the contest scene winning the Midlands 1st section in 2024 and being placed 6th in the final at Cheltenham, We also won the 1st section at Denshaw at Whit Friday Marches. We were promoted to the Championship Section in January 2025 and achieved a 6th place at the Midlands area contest in March.
